General

  • Tournament format is pool play.
  • Pools determined by regular league play results.

 

Equipment and Supplies

 

  • Tuesday night and Friday night:
    • Home team is responsible for the bases and game ball (all teams have an unused game ball due to rain outs)
    • Visiting team is responsible for second game ball.
  • Saturday:
    • Bases and game balls will be provided.
    • Home team will provide 2nd ball.
  • Teams are responsible for their own FIRST AID and there may be NO WASHROOM facilities on site: arena washrooms might be available, but teams should plan for washroom breaks accordingly. 

The Game

 

  • Top team from the final league standings is the home team.
  • Games will start on time! No grace period will be awarded, and there will be no added time should a delay occur (with the exception of the addition of injury time only in the instance that a sub is not available.)
  • All games are 7 innings or 75 minutes with no new inning starting after 65 minutes with exception of semi-final and final games: 
    • Semi final & final games are 7 innings or 80 minutes.
  • Teams must participate in each scheduled game.
  • Players must have played a minimum of 6 regular season games to be eligible for play-offs.
    • Player replacements to ensure official game is at the convener’s discretion.
  • Any player ejected from a game by the umpire will also be ejected from the tournament and must leave the park immediately.
